A Route Description

This worked for me but there are undoubtedly other ways to the top. Park at a little lot on the west side of the road just past the Rose Canyon turnoff. From there walk back down the road a hundred feet or so to the toe of the peak's western ridge, then bushwhack up the ridge to the top. It's a bit steep and brushy in spots but never too bad. Turned out to be maybe 2/3 mile and 600 feet to the top and took about half an hour. On a nice summer day combining this with the Mt. Lemmon and Mt. Bigelow drive-ups gives about the easiest 39 pt. day around... :-)
